Kerala is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. 1600 meter above sea level this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in the blue every twelve years, will bloom next in 2006 AD. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi, which towers over 2695 m. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking.

DAY 1: ARRIVE COCHIN
Met and transferred to your hotel for the night. Enjoy a sightseeing tour
of the city in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: COCHIN - MUNNAR
Drive to Munnar in the morning. On arrival check into your hotel for two nights.
Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3: MUNNAR
Full day excursion to Eravikulam National Park. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: MUNNAR - PERIYAR
Drive to Periyar after breakfast. On arrival check into your hotel for two
nights. Enjoy a spice plantation tour in the afternoon.
DAY 5: PERIYAR
Full day wildlife viewing at Periyar National Park. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6: PERIYAR - CHANGANACHERRY
After breakfast, drive to Changanacherry. On arrival check into your hotel.
Enjoy a boat cruise in the backwaters around Changanacherry.
DAY 7: CHANGANACHERRY - ALLEPPEY
Cruise through the backwaters to Alleppey. On arrival check into your resort
for the night. Overnight at the resort.
DAY 8: ALLEPPEY - ARANMULA
Cruise to Aranmula, which is set amid rice fields and coconut palms. Stay
at a dance and arts centre in simple Indian style accommodation. Overnight
at the art centre.
DAY 9: ARANMULA
Join workshops on dance, music, woodcarving, yoga and Kalaripayat - the martial
art of Kerala. Overnight at the art centre.
DAY 10: ARANMULA - VARKALA
Drive to Varkala in the morning. On arrival check into your hotel. Rest of
the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 11: VARKALA - KOVALAM
Drive to Kovalam after breakfast. On arrival check into your hotel for the
night. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum city in the afternoon. Overnight
at the hotel.
DAY 12: KOVALAM - TRIVANDRUM - ONWARD DESTINATION
Transferred to the airport in time to connect your flight to onward destination.
