Day
01:
Kolkata – Sunderban Wildlife Sanctuary
Arrive Kolkata. Met upon arrival and transferred to the hotel. Evening you will
be briefed about the requirements and dos and don’ts for your visit to Sunderban
Wildlife Sanctuary. Overnight you will be at the hotel.
Morning drive to Sonakhali (2 hrs 30 mins) On arrival to Sonakhali Jetty you
will be transferred to boat. Briefing by the naturalist. Cruise to Sudhanyakhali
watchtower through mangrove creeks and canals.
Afternoon you will visit Sajnekhali watchtower and Mangrove Interpretation Centre.
Anchor for the day. Evening at leisure on the boat. Overnight you will be at
the boat.
Day 02:
Sunderban Widlife Sanctuary
Morning you will be birding along with an optional village tour. Later in the
morning you will cruise to Bagna and Burir Dabri watchtower for animal sighting
form boat.
Evening local cultural show in village Bali. Cruise back to anchoring point.
Overnight you will be at the boat.
Day 03:
Sunderban Wildlife Sanctuary - Kolkata
Morning you will go for creeks cruise by manually oared country boat for about
an hour. Later in the morning cruise to Dobanki and Netidhobani watchtower to
sight wildlife. Cruise back to Sonakhali. Upon arrival at Sonakhali jetty you
will be transferred to the car for surface transfer to Kolkata. Met on arrival
and transferred to your hotel. Overnight you will be in the hotel.
Day 04:
Morning you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Bagdogra.
Met on arrival and transferred by surface to Lava. On arrival you will check-in
to your hotel. Evening will be at leisure.
Day 05:
Morning go for a bird-walk Lava. Later in the day move on to Lolegaon for a
full day birding.
